Thank you to our community partner, Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, for giving Junior League of Evanston-North Shore (JLE-NS) members the opportunity to volunteer at Walk for the Bear on Sunday, October 20th! The family-friendly Halloween-themed walk took place on a beautiful fall morning at Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village. JLE-NS members helped with registration and shirt distribution and also participated in the walk to join forces with hundreds of others whose lives have been touched by pediatric cancer.
