The JLE-NS volunteers at the Evanston Animal Shelter (EAS) routinely. We were proud to donate three utility wagons to the Evanston Animal Shelter on May 8, 2025. The EAS holds a Community Pet Pantry twice a month for Evanston-area residents who are in need of assistance with providing food for their furry family members and the wagons are used during the events to transport pet food and various items from the pantry to clients’ cars.

After donating the wagons, our members stayed to volunteer to assist clients during the Community Pet Pantry, where they put the wagons to immediate use.
