JLE-NS 100th Anniversary Gala!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Centennial Gala on June 1st at the Deer Path Inn in Lake Forest! We had such a wonderful time celebrating the projects and programs the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore has completed in our 100-year history to give back to our community.
The evening started with a welcome from our Founder and First President, Dorothy Mason Croft (portrayed by Jasmine Richman). Next, we participated in a 100-year candle ceremony to represent each year that our League has been in existence and we also had a champagne toast hosted by our Past Presidents.
We also welcomed our 2023-24 New Member class and recognized our Policy and Management Board members. We are grateful to have each and every one of you in our League and truly appreciate your voluntarism and commitment!
Congratulations to our 2024 award winners:
- Founder’s Award – Elizabeth Osborne
- Sustainer of the Year – Amy Mick
- Outstanding Community Volunteer – WINGS
Our Past Presidents passed the gavel to welcome Valerie Rowlands as our 2024-25 President and we would like to thank our outgoing 2023-24 President, Jennipher Tejano for her leadership and dedication and also welcome our 2024-25 President-Elect, Karen Burchell.
We would also like to recognize our incredible Gala Planning committee: Lyn Aleshire, Nicole Bogdanovich (Chair), Karen Burchell, Paula Danoff, Nicole Downie, Rebecca Garces, Melanie Glass, Amy Heinz, Jennifer Luczkowiak, Jeanni McCormick, Dina Mead, Tammy Mitchell, Kim Pressling, Valerie Rowlands, Laura Sniader Rempel, Jennipher Tejano, Betsy Turovitz and Melissa Twyman.

Here’s to 100 more years of advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training!
