The JLE-NS is a volunteer nonprofit that develops women leaders to strengthen our community. We make a positive impact on women, children, and families in our communities.

We love donating to and volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter.

Since 1940, the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore’s Thrift House has raised $25,000 annually to support JLE-NS’s operations and community projects.

JLE-NS’s Community Grant Assistance Fund awards funds to nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations in our community.

JLE-NS awards Scholarships to graduating High School Seniors who significantly contribute to the community through volunteerism & leadership.

Our Done in a Day committee organizes service projects throughout the year targeted at helping people in the community in either just one day or by addressing a short term need.

Through our partnership with The Uweza Foundation, we empower children and youth in Kibera, Kenya to pursue a path to a better future through the discovery and development of their talents and abilities.

JLE-NS provides direct support to WINGS, a domestic violence nonprofit that provides housing, integrated services, education and advocacy to end domestic violence.
