Providing assistance to those disrupted by domestic violence

The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore is proud to partner with WINGS to provide housing, integrated services, education and advocacy to help end domestic violence. The JLE-NS provides funds to WINGS to further the mission of providing a pathway to independence for people whose lives have been disrupted by domestic violence. When a victim of domestic violence finds WINGS, their world begins to change for the better. WINGS has helped thousands of victims begin a journey that leads away from violence and towards safety, security and independence.

Safe Housing 

WINGS provides victims of domestic violence and their children with 155 safe housing options in and around the Chicagoland area to help end the cycle of violence.

Counseling & Planning

WINGS takes a holistic “strength-based” approach that highlights, encourages and develops each client’s strengths.

Mentoring Program

The WINGS Mentoring Program provides ongoing support for individuals who have successfully completed our two-year program and achieved self-sufficiency.
